Our approach

Learning is achieved through a powerful combination of:

·   instructor-led input
·   practical application
·   facilitated reflection
·   review and discussion
    of real-life examples
·   application to live
    projects.

Tools are taught entirely within the context of the DMAIC and DFSS processes, to improve practical understanding.

Attendees should aim to bring a sponsored, approved project to the training to which they can apply their learning and demonstrate benefit.

6 Sigma Training Approach

Effective training is critical to a successful, self-sustaining, 6 Sigma / Lean 6 sigma deployment.

Using traditional 'chalk and talk' or 'talk and PC' training methods, many 6 Sigma trainees often just don't seem to get it.

Training may be regarded as tedious, uninteresting and / or confusing, and this is reflected in the variable results trainees subsequently achieve when applying their learning.

Our training is regarded by attendees at all levels as motivational, enjoyable and leading to significant learning

Or, follow the link if you would like to see an example of one of our case studies used in the training, or a typical 6 Sigma Black or Green Belt course agenda..

Our uniquely effective approach to training is outlined below.

outcome

Active, action-centred-learning driven approach High levels of applied learning are achieved. The ability to apply 6 Sigma learning to real-business situations is increased

Holistic and Contextualised The aim of each improvement stage is clear to trainees, and bridges between DMAIC stages are understood

Process (DMAIC or DFSS) focused All tools are seen in context of the improvement (DMAIC) or design (DFSS) cycle. The choice and use of tools is optimised

The result of this approach is a high level of applied learning, creating substantial and sustained business improvements.
