Presenting A DMAIC Project In our experience, we have
found most DMAIC project sponsors' attention has wavered somewhat when
the 6 Sigma practitioner has got to the 45th slide in an 82 slide
PowerPoint (or similar) presentation! Sadly, we joke not .....
We have found that a storyboard, similar to the one below, is very
helpful for presenting DMAIC project progress to Champions and other
interested parties.
It tells a logical story of progress, links the key components of
the project, shows remaining work to be done (any remaining blank
areas on the storyboard) and helps the 6 sigma practitioner to
appear clear and concise in their presentation.
This really helps achieve sponsor buy-in.
